Trilokya Nath Upraity* (TN) Center for Education has been founded with the initiative and support of family and friends of late Dr. TN Upraity and Kathmandu University (KU). TN Center is a non-profit autonomous institution set up within the framework of Kathmandu University. Its Principal focus is on education as the foundation for development and change.
The Centre aims to:

• Promote and support developmental research and analysis of key issues and aspects of Nepalese contemporary education as indispensable strategy for educational innovation and reform;
• Contribute to maximizing the effective utilization of research findings for educational reform and innovation;
• Promote the disseminatttion and sharing of research findings on education as integral part of overall development strategy of people;
• Harness financial and other resource support for developmental research and analysis of contemporary educational issues;
• Encourage voluntary contributions for recognition of excellence, meritorious achievements and services.
